Last night was a big night for Check Yo Ponytail. While we spent all day putting the final touches on the brand new, fully reconstructed CYP2 website, the Hollywood Reporter published a great article that premiered our exclusive mini-documentary, More Than A Show: The First Two Years of Check Yo Ponytail. While everyone in Los Angeles has been privy to CYP2 for quite some time now, More Than A Show is our way of introducing the Check Yo Ponytail experience to those who don’t quite know about us yet. What better way to highlight all the elements of what makes us special than in a pleasant little feature for you to enjoy, complete with tons of performance footage from our CYP2 events including shows at the Echoplex, Electric Forest, SXSW, Fun Fun Fun Fest, and the first ever Check Yo Ponytail Tour! More Than A Show also includes interviews with Franki Chan, Danny Johnson, Demonbabies, Caesar Sebastian, and myself as well.
