Baghdad-born and honorary Southern Australian Motez is breaking all kinds of rules with his innovative blend of electronic R&B. The Adelaide producer, has been making mellow mixes and reworks for some pop’s biggest names i.e. Justin Timberlake, Iggy Azalea, and Frank Ocean to name a few. Classically trained as a pianist, these skills have served him well in his transition into one of the hottest Aussie producers this year. With the support of fellow Aussie’s Flume, Anna Lunoe, Nina Las Vegas and many more, Motez is primed to take on the U.S. and will be making his way to L.A. on August 20th!
Recent winner of Stony Roads, “Producer of the Year” award, Motez’s latest EP Promise Me on Sweat It Out, is earning him more than just awards, but hearts and ears in the process.
