Last night’s Boys Noize “Go Hard” EP release party presented by IHEARTCOMIX and HARD was one of those unique opportunities to see a world class DJs for free in an intimate setting. This is why we love the City of Angels. It took only 30 minutes after announcing the show for the RSVPs to max out and after last night’s performance it’s easy to see why. A packed house had the ceilings sweating but no one seemed to mind for such a surreal experience.
Franki Chan set things off while the line half way down the block filtered in to the small but vibey Complex in Glendale. Everyone’s anticipation was visceral and once they made it inside, it was clear everyone came to party. The party only elevated once Destructo hit the decks and the turn up was palpable. When Boys Noize finally arrived, the audience went wild as the guest of honor quickly dove right in without looking back. He worked the room like a master playing techno to disco giving the audience a sampler of his new EP. Take a look at last night’s photo set from Jorge Meza to relive the historical event!
