Last Friday, Goldenvoice and IHC hosted Anamanaguchi, UNA, Meishi Smile, and HEARTSREVOLUTION at the El Rey Theatre for a sold out show! HEARTSREVOLUTION kicked things off with a bang, performing hit tracks from their new album Ride or Die with unparalleled zeal. Next up was L.A. local, Meishi Smile, offering up infectious 8-bit tunes from his latest record Lust. J-pop starlett, UNA, appeared on stage to a warm welcome from the L.A. crowd backed by IHC’s own $U$PECT! She quickly got the crowd involved and it was clear the language barrier wasn’t a factor as her raw energy and enthusiasm echoed through the El Rey. Finally, the chiptune masters, Anamanaguchi hit the stage to greet a ravenous crowd who’s thirst was only quenched by the rocking kawaii sounds of the four piece.
