Last Friday, Check Yo Ponytail 2 was back with Sage the Gemini, Iamsu, FiNaTTicZ, Kool John, BRRRANGaDANG, and DJ Carisma at Echoplex. The Heartbreak Gang was in full force as Sage the Gemini pumped up the crowd with hit songs like Gas Pedal, and Red Nose. We were also privy to rhymes from HBK’s P-LO and Skipper among others and a surprise appearance from Yo Gotti! Iamsu had the whole room mobbin’ with his hot tracks Hipster Girls, Goin’ Up, and Millions while HBK hyped the audience and busted some sweet dance moves for the CYP2 attendees. FiNaTTicZ got the party hopping with Don’t Drop That Thun Thun while Kool John served up a sampling of his shmop life style and new track Quit Cattin’. Ham on Everything’s BRRRANGaDANG and DJ Carisma brought the turn up to kick off this hot night of hip hop with some of the Bay’s brightest new stars.
