Seattle shoegazers, Crater have released their brand new single Ain’t Right to preface their upcoming tour with Tr/st this Fall starting September 19th! Their new track conjures late 90s feels and familiar riffs with a flood instrumentation broken only by the longing yet uplifting lyrics of Ceci Gomez. She notes the new single’s inspiration, “You know when someone creates an illusion of you and you’ve been put on this pedestal that you can’t seem to get down from?” Apparently the sinlge was suppose to be part of 5 song EP but the duo have released each single alone to give it the attention it derserves. “It’s been tough figuring out which songs to release because we have quite a few to choose from; we’re now at around 20. We’ve been trying to group together tracks that have somewhat similar vibes and feel closer to completion first.” Stream the new single Ain’t Right and pick up tickets to see them September 27th with Tr/st at The Fonda Theatre!
