In case you missed it last week, L.A. beat producer Henry Laufer, aka Shlohmo, is back to throw his hat into the ring with the finely programmed and ever so golden ‘Laid Out‘ EP. Having progressed from last year’s ‘Vacation’ EP, Shlohmo rolled up his sleeves, sharpened his beats and finely tuned the mood for the new EP. Diving in you’ll notice the smooth “Don’t Say No” featuring the sultry vocals of How to Dress Well‘s Tom Krell on top of soft swelling touches of synth, echoing guitar ripples, and the perfect amount of bass, this track is sure to get anyone some action.

Upon the release of his new EP, Shlohmo has embarked on a ‘Laid Out’ Spring Tour, which is currently at SXSW. Even though we pretty much started off SXSW weekend with our SUPER PARTY, we’re still gonna rage through the weekend until your party meter explodes. Today at Emo’s East, IHEARTCOMIX and Ableton Present: Friends of Friends Official SXSW Showcase, featuring Salva x Pusha T, Shlohmo, Daedelus vs. Ryan Hemsworth, Mexicans with Guns, Groundislava, Jerome LOL, and Lazy Brow vs. Sodapop.
