Brighton based surf rockers, The Wytches are currently touring the U.S. after releasing their immensely popular album Annabel Dream Reader this past August on Partisan Records. Singer-songwriter Kristian Bell, drummer Gianni Honey and bassist Daniel Rumsey, have recorded an emblematic surf/psych rock album that is as heartfelt as it is heavy. They’ve successfully harnessed the excrutiating suffering life can bring and exorcise it beautifully through there melancholy lyrics, screeching vocals, heavy bass progression, and crashing percussion. However their sinister sounds are not always so sorrowful as you’ll see in their stripped down performance of Weights and Ties below.
