LA producer Spazzkid has just unveiled a pretty new video for”Goodbye,” which is off his latest album Promise. Filmed in Kyoto and directed by Czar Campos, it’s a beautifully-shot thriller about a mysterious suitcase that kills people.

“The song itself is a break-up song, which might be more apparent at the end of this video,” said Spazzkid to Fader, who premiered the video. “I wanted to sing about a relationship that’s about to end. It’s almost like an ‘I’m sorry’ song to people I’ve hurt in the past.”

Killer baggage of the emotional variety; it all makes sense now.

The video is a prequel to the one he made for “40 Winks,” which is from the long lost age of 2013. The “40 Winks” video was the birthplace of the murderous luggage, and it explains its bloody resurgence in “Goodbye,” which is why we included it below. Mmm, context.
