Forever evolving, electronic music continues to lure listeners into experiencing its vast genres and sub-genres, almost like taking an auditorial submarine and exploring its worldwide wide oceans. An unfamiliar face yet no stranger to the electronic music sea, Alessandro Cortini has been experimenting with such music through his contributions to Nine Inch Nails and How to Destroy Angels. Cortini’s newest project titled, ‘Forse‘ (meaning ‘maybe’ in Italian), is a 3 LP series that Cortini composed entirely in one month using only his Buchla Music Easel.
Forse gently descends listeners into distorted depths of unknown territory, slowly flooding auditory senses with dense, resonating waves. Cortini’s oscillations fill nostalgic space allowing listeners to drone out into a blissful paralysis. Forse 1 is a climactic experience to say the least. Available now on Important Records.
