Floridian “lady rapper” Kitty Pryde has a flow that reminds you of the person in high school at the talent show who recites dark poetry about drugs and partying, and leaves the audience in awe. Her persona is at first tough one to grasp but her name, her debut EP, (entitled Haha, I’m Sorry), and her trademark giggle fully embody the cutesy stereotype of a high school crush.

Kitty Pryde is an extremely talented, full blown rapper with one of the most unique musical personas we’ve yet to encounter.  In her short career she has already achieved considerable landmarks.  Opening for Danny Brown on tour and collaborating with the likes of Riff Raff and even Sufjan Stevens; Kitty Pryde is clearly on the upswing and is someone to look out for in 2013.
