We’ve been teasing you for weeks about the secret guests for Check Yo Ponytail 2 with Salva, The Gaslamp Killer, and Franki Chan.  There are many artist who have now been locked in that will remain a secret until the day of the show due to Coachella stipulations but we are pleased to announce the addition of Thundercat to the line up!

Stephen Bruner, aka Thundercat, was formerly part of the infamous thrash punks Suicidal Tendencies but is now protege to bassist/composer Flying Lotus! He shares in the philosophy of many jazz literate hip-hop artist, “I do believe that hip-hop can be the new jazz, and I’m helping create that.” Listen to his track “Daylight” below to get familiar with Thundercat’s jazz influenced music.
