Danish producer, Tomas Barfod is headed west this September to share the sounds of his heralded new album Love Me available now via Secretly Canadian. Seemingly attune to the blissful yet heart wrenching emotions that music evokes, Barfod crafts his sound to evoke a wide range of feels from melancholia to inspirational. Recently he and singer Nina K. decided to bring their moody melodies to the microcasm of a Danish apartment building, taking center stage on the community tennis court. Armed with just his laptop, midi controller, and the lush vocals of Nina K., they perform an ethereal live version of Busy Baby that capture the ears and hearts of the local residents as they emerge from their confines to hear the serenade. The video serves as a commencement for Barfod’s new ‘Beatport’ EP, an exclusive remix EP of the song Busy Baby through Beatport featuring mixes from Oliver Nelson, KANT, Beacon and more. Watch this spectacular ‘take away show’ and don’t miss Tomas Barfod at the Echo on September 12th with Kid606, Dot, and Patrick Brian, tickets below!
