It’s been a a few months since we’ve heard from London based producer, Tourist, but today he released his new silhouetted music video for Wait stirring rumors of a forthcoming album on his new label Polydor Records. Highlighted by flickering lights, darting lasers, and fluid visuals William Phillips is now joined by two other humble musicians in a dramatic setting. Set to kick off his U.K. mini-tour this November, we imagine he’ll take this new staging on the road. The track lends it self to the emotion this sensory stimulating show creates, and Tourist notes, “I wanted to try and write a piece of music that was intricate and delicate but still quite intense and beefy. The sentiment really stems from expecting something to be fixed in a relationship but it never surfacing. It’s about longing I suppose.” Hopefully, he’ll make his way states side soon, but until then watch his new video and you’ll understand the longing we feel for Tourist.
