Danish multi-instrumentalist Trentmøller has recently bridged the gap between the indie and experimental electronic worlds with his latest single, Never Stop Running, the first track from his upcoming LP, Lost. Soft electronic pulses gallop in the background providing a propulsive texture that pairs well with the track’s warm yet subtle bass tones and beautifully eerie leads. While the track remains cinematic as an instrumental, the vocal contributions from The Drums frontman, Jonny Pierce elevate the overall tone of the track from it’s rhythmically engaging foundation to a place of visceral introspection, further emphasized by the video’s stunningly captured portraitures.
