Trust — the gothic dance project of producer Robert Alfons — recently put out the album Joyland, a record that truly surpasses the boundaries of where dark, experimental dance music has previously taken us and in the best way possible. The album is layered with heavy disco beats, sparkling synths, Robert’s low growl and chilling hooks. Director Will Joines has now made a video for the album’s booming single Capitol that features Alfons singing overlapping a girl who appears to be in an 80’s space age dream state, possessed by a statue.
