We’ve got a very special episode of Videos of the Week for you guys…
Why you ask? Well, there just so happens to be several adorable animals in the videos you will find below…
Captain Cuts’ latest release features not just a human baby, not just a leopard kitten, but a freaking puppy dressed as the pope as well. My latest Australian music crush, Brightness, also shows off his cute black doggo in his new sun-soaked video for “Oblivion”, too.
Although not a puppy himself, Geotic (aka Baths), gets himself into a hairy situation and chews on several wigs in his hilarious video for “Actually Smiling”. Sampha also made my life this week when he announced that his debut studio album, Process, will be accompanied by a film of the same name directed by Kahlil Joseph, who also made Beyonce‘s Lemonade. The trailer features motivational images of birds and is soundtracked by the gorgeous track “Plastic 100°C”.
While Thee Oh Sees‘ video for “Gelatinous Cube” doesn’t feature cute animals (unless you’re into aliens), the harsh and fuzzy anthem definitely brings out my more base animal instincts and never fails to make me head bang even when I’m at work.
Remarkably, I totally avoided the Super Bowl this weekend. However, from what I can gather from the internet, there were some pretty great promos this year. So, I’ve included the latest from Stranger Things and Guardians of the Galaxy, if you missed it like me.
