This week in music was jam packed with two of my favorite things – collaborations and good artists doing good covers of other good artists!

Two of my all time faves, Iggy Pop and Oneohtrix Point Never – a dream collaboration I never knew I needed in my life – made a song for the upcoming Robert Pattinson film Good Time.

Amandla Stenberg (yep, Rue from Hunger Games) also released a very sweet cover of Mac DeMarco‘s “Let My Baby Stay” this week alongside a self-directed, technicolor music video.

In honor of Twin Peaks’ return this week (finally!!!!), Jon Hopkins released a live video of him covering several songs from the show’s iconic soundtrack.

Drake somehow weaseled his way into this episode of Videos of the Week twice by way of Mura Masa‘s & Charli XCX‘s amazing cover of “Passionfruit” and his hilarious appearance in Toronto comedian duo, 4YallEntertainment’s, sketch in which he gets to live out his dreams of being Jamaican.
