Los Angeles indie rock outfit White Arrows, recently released their sophmore album In Bardo on Votiv to a whirlwind of success. Featured by iTunes three weeks in a row, the new album manifests itself as it’s title suggests, a transitional state of being, the phase of existence between death and rebirth. It marks the end of one thing and the beginning of another. The band has been fully formed with Mickey Schiff on vocals, Steven Vernet on bass, Andrew Naeve on guitar/electronics, John Paul Caballero on guitar/electronics, and Schiff’s younger brother Henry Schiff on drums. As they prepare for their West Coast Tour this Fall, they’ve provided us with some mesmerizing visuals for their latest tracks. Their fuzzy distorted songs have been captured in a kaleidoscope of crab legs and butterflies.
