Interscope Records brought in IHC to bring AlunaGeorge’s #IRemember experience to life. 12 Rooms, 1 Album, 1 continuous shot, all live streamed from a party.
It all started as a crazy idea that turned to reality. What if something as simple as an album listening party was reimagined into an interactive activation anyone could experience? And so, the #IRemember live stream event was created.
Loosely based around IHC’s ongoing Party Stream series, the AlunaGeorge’s team at Interscope approached IHEARTCOMIX to make Aluna’s vision a reality. The concept required 12 rooms be built inside a live event, each room’s decoration and production was inspired by each of the 12 songs from her latest record I Remember. The 5 hour event, which featured DJs, performances and projections was live streamed via Twitch in one 52 minute continuous take in order to accommodate the entire album.
We partnered with Mack Sennett Studios in Los Angeles to produce the event in the dauntingly short time-frame of 9 days. Soylent and Beats By Dre joined in as sponsors and Ride or Cry handled social media. It was a team effort of epic proportions that resulted in one of the most creative and interactive experiences IHC has yet to be a part of.
