Today, Los Angeles industrial duo Youth Code dropped their dark and disturbing new music video for Consuming Guilt on The Fader. Part of MOCA’s Art + Music series, the new video, directed by Grant Singer, is meant to be a jolting and jarring visual experience to raise awareness about animal testing. Singer notes, “We wanted to use this video as an opportunity to show the public the inhumane practices of animal testing.” Placing a human in the midst of these cringe worthy tests certainly illustrates the horrors of the process and with Sara Taylor’s raspy screams as narration, Consuming Guilt takes on new meaning. Watch the new music video below for some haunting pre-Halloween scares and maybe think twice before using products tested on animals.
