“Latch” Part II? Disclosure and Sam Smith Reunite for “Omen”

Disclosure are set to drop the follow-up to their excellent 2013 LP, Settle, this September.  So far we’ve sampled a few of Caracal‘s flavors, like the smooth single, “Holding On” and the tart, nutty “Bang That.”  Today, however, the Brothers Lawrence are giving us a whole XL-sized cup of the Sam Smith Special.  hat’s right: the DJs have hooked up with Smith for a second time, and the result is as sad and sexy as ever.

Can the gang out-do the massive success of their previous smash hit, “Latch?” Will Sam Smith ever mend that ever-broken heart of his?  I just compared a string of Disclosure songs to different types of frozen yogurt, so at this point, anything’s possible.

Watch Smith bob-and-weave his way through a house party, dejected yet again, in the video for “Omen”, below.

Caracal is scheduled for release on September 25, via Island/Universal Records.
