Billie Eilish: Happier Than Ever

We produced a star-studded album release party and a 2-day fan experience to celebrate Billie Eilish’s sophomore album, Happier Than Ever.

Happier Than Ever: The Destination came to life over 3 days at the Greenburg Estate, a gorgeous mansion on an 8-acre secluded private property. Guests were invited to step into Billie’s world — an elegant experience modeled after a dreamy cinematic getaway and soundtracked by the new album. A series of memorable moments brought the music to life while inviting fans to discover the three Spotify Enhanced Albums within.

A VIP preview party on Thursday celebrated the official release of the album and kicked off the weekend of fan exploration on Friday and Saturday.

Overview

Narrative Story Presented as a single throughput the moment guests arrived at the Beverly Hilton, fans were guided onto open-air shuttles to the property, where our tour guides led attendees through 4 core areas over 45 minutes. Each song on the album had a dedicated moment within the experience. 

Spotify Enhanced Albums A first for the brand, we brought to life these concepts through Billie’s Suite, to represent Billie Mode (ex: a vanity with personal polaroids; custom content on vintage TV screens), the Fountain to represent Lyric Mode (ex: vinyl art lyrics and a custom pool menu), and the Garden Bar to represent Fan Mode (ex: fan wishes to Billie hung on a tree). 



Original Costumes Custom designed, cut, dyed and styled uniforms for staff served as a thematic tie throughout the event.   


VIP Album Release Party

This hyper exclusive party welcomed industry and press for a first-look at the experience, which they were invited to explore and enjoy over complimentary drinks, food and live music from the DJ, Nala. 

Billie led a countdown and addressed the crowd when the album officially dropped at 9PM; she also led all guests in the birthday song for Finneas, complete with custom vegan cupcakes. 

Notable guests included Olivia Rodrigo, Willow and Jaden Smith, Khalid, Karrueche, Will.i.am, Duckwrth, Ben Platt, Amanda Kloots, Sabrina Claudio, Dove Cameron, Caitlin Reilly, Gracie Abrams and Eric Andre.


Billie Eilish Fan Experience

Over the course of 2 days, attendees had the opportunity to literally follow in Billie’s footsteps and experience the album exactly as she intended it – and as she demonstrated the night before at the party. 

Tour guides greeted guests and welcomed them into the world with special credentials for an added air of exclusivity. From the step & repeat to the custom marquee, every moment was a photo opportunity and staff was on hand to assist. Groups were guided through each dedicated area and clued into where to find nods to each song off the new album. 

Giveaways included hats and custom postcards that linked back to each Enhanced Album on Spotify. A custom event website offered time-ticket entry and served as a teaser for what was to come.
