The Report Truck Stunt

Our truck installation was visited by Jon Hamm, Scott Z. Burns, Daniel J. Jones and Carl Bernstein

To promote The Report, Amazon Studios executed a national stunt, wrapping major newspapers across the country in a redacted front page. The same day the papers hit news stands across the country, IHC kicked off a 5-day roaming truck installation featuring quotes from the movie animated by renowned artist, Jenny Holzer. The eye-catching stunt was featured in Ad Age, Ad Week, In Touch, Life & Style, Art Net and more.

Over the course of the activation, IHC routed the two truck installations to cover the breadth of Los Angeles. Targeting audiences engaged in culture, film and politics, the trucks made surprise appearances at events including a Bernie Sanders rally, the MOCA record fair, Dillon Francis’s concert and AFI Fest. At specific activations and special screenings we coordinated brand ambassadors to pass out branded shirts and buttons designed and printed in-house. The trucks were also accompanied by roaming content teams every day to document their route and enhance impact.
