It is almost impossible to think of any group of live musicians that perform as consistant and tenacious as Trans Am. For over 20 years, the three piece from Maryland has been creating progressive, kraut inspired post-rock that is highly conceptual and equally impressive. With computer-like accuracy, Trans Am has conditioned themselves to transcend the musical format, focusing more on the greater aspects of creation, while still reminding themselves that music is and should be fun. The result is a more cohesive and intellectual performance whose mechanical precision is driven by an undying humanistic yearning for greatness.
